The Gruffalo
This is one of those books where the little guy comes out on top! Hunter and I read this book last night for bed time. It had such a cute storyline and Hunter couldn't take his eyes of the colorful pages. I loved the story of the little mouse in this book who outwits a fox, a snake and an owl. Because the mouse is clever he convinces them that he is going to meet a Gruffalo, of which the other animals have never heard of - but once they hear a Gruffalo's favourite food is respecitvely Roasted Fox, Scramble Snake and Owl Icecream - they aren't interested in eating the mouse. But then Mouse meets up with a real live GrufflOH! Mouse keeps his cool and even manages to fool him.
When I was looking online for this book I came across the official Gruffalo website and there are some free activites and games for you little ones on their website.

I went to the authors website and I liked how the books were listed by age. Unfortunately some of the ones that I thought looked pretty cute our libraries don't carry.
Oh cool! I have not heard of these! Love a book recommendation, I will have to check this one out.
