Hunter loves water! He loves playing in it, swimming in it...anything to do with it he is into. Last week when I was making dinner I set him up next to the sink with a stool to stand on. I got some of my kitchen gadgets out for him to play with. I filled one side of the sink up with plain water and the other side with soapy water. When I told him that I was going to let him play in the sink he got a huge smile on his face and was ready right at that moment. There has been times when he washes his hands and wants to play in the sink with the dirty dishes and I won't let him. So this was big stuff that he was getting to play in the sink with mommies kitchen spoons and measuring cups.I am going to have to do this again. It helped me get dinner cooked and he was busy and occupied the whole time.....

You are a good mom! This would stress me out.
That is cool to see him playing there. Anything to keep a child occupied is good in my book!
Awww, Mandy you don't know how much I needed that good mom comment. Thank you! I had a heck of a morning this morning getting out of the house with Hunter and wasn't feeling like a good mom.
Don't beat yourself up April we ALL have days like that! I always just hope the good days weigh out the bad!!
