10 favorite things about our house...

This was a tag from my cousin Mandy. Thanks for the idea, it was fun!

This is one of my favorite pictures of Hunter. This picture was taken 1 month after he was born. He was so small that Matt could hold him on the length of his arm.
I love our leather couch and ottoman. We have had this couch for about 7 years. I love it for some of the same reasons my cousin Abby loves hers. It is very durable with pets and kids as you can wipe it down. I also love how overstuffed and comfy it is. We got this antique clock from Matt's mom for Christmas one year. Matt and I both love the look of this clock. It also means more to both of us after Matt's mom passing this year.

Matt and I were excited when we bought this house for the shed. We both love it for the storage it provides. Him more than me, but I love the way it looks. The decking floor built around it and the shingles on top make it seem like it is a hut.
This is the view out of the back room of our house. One of the things that attracted us to our house was the yard. We love that we don't have any houses behind us and it is just fields. It is nice to sit on the couch at the end of the day and have an outdoors feel when you look out the window and not feel like we are stacked right on our neighbor.

Matt got this sunflower mosaic picture for me for Mother's day a couple year's ago. He got this because he knows sunflowers remind me of where I was born and raised. I had always wanted something with mosaic, but hadn't mentioned that to Matt. I don't know why I was surprised....he is normally better at getting gifts than I am.
My grandpa Bob made this horse for Hunter and brought it with him when he came to visit last November. I treasure having this for the simple fact that my grandpa made it.

I know a lot of houses have fireplaces in them now a days. Our last house didn't, though. I like on a fall or winter evening cuddling up on the couch with the warmth of this fireplace. I also like the fact that I can just flip a switch and there isn't any clean up from ashes or wood!

This is similar to the last picture except for outside. It is nice even though we are in the city limits to sit outside in the evening with a fire going and kind of feel like you are camping.
This room is mainly Hunter's play room. We also use this room to watch t.v. or movies as a family. I like having a room for Hunter's toys. It seems to keep the rest of our house cleaner. Our last house was so small that when Hunter got his toys out they just seemed to be everywhere. I like the containment of this room.

Very cool. Even though I've seen most of those things, it's nice to read how you actually feel about them.
