Hunter and I went to a Children's Museum today. It is an interactive museum where kids can play. They had all these different areas. There was a water area, a hospital, a construction zone, a grocery store with kitchen, a theatre, an area where kids could make things out of clay. It is a great place for kids to use their imaginations and have some fun.
This was pretty cute. It was a huge alligator with that had a soft tongue and belly and hard teethe for the kids to brush. The toothbrushes cracked me up, how big they were.

The water area seemed to be a pretty popular spot. It was nice that they had little smocks for the kids to put on over their clothes to keep them dry. The two pictures above was a box that had water flowing down from the top. You could make paths for the boats and toys to go down the water current.

A magnetic board that that the shapes and kaleidoscopes stuck on.

Hunter loved the hospital section. There were babies that you could weigh, take their blood pressure, dress them, etc. Hunter has been into babies lately and loved taking this little baby around doing all the activities with it. They also had an x-ray machine that kids hold x-rays up to look at.
This construction area was really cool. The rocks that Hunter is standing on are a bunch of cut up rubber pieces.
This was one of Hunter's favorite things at the museum. It was a tube that you could put plastic balls in and push a button and it would turn on a vacuum that sucked them up into the sky. The last picture is a clear ball hooked to the ceiling that the balls got sucked up into.

What a fun day! Great pictures!
Wow, I want to go there also. Do you think they would let me play with everything?
Love, Liz
