Little Miss Chloe

So we decided to give Chloe to a girl at work and her family. They just lost their 11 year old Shepherd a couple months ago and were going to be looking for a Shepherd in a couple months. We have had Chloe for two years now. She is a great dog and it was a very hard thing to give her to our friends. We were not actively looking for a home for her, but had discussed it recently. She is still a puppy and needs a lot of attention and with Hunter, Matt and I feel we don't have the attention to give to her at this point in our life. We also had got her in hopes that she would grow up with Hunter and they would be buds, but he always seemed more annoyed with her than wanting to spend time with her.

It has been a little less than a month since she has been at her new house and she is adjusting well and we are too. We have been able to give Tuff, our 10 year old dog more attention and walks and one dog is just more manageable. We all still think about her, but know we made the right decision.

As we were looking at the blog Taytum was saying how much she missed Chloe and she sounded almost like she might cry. It didn't take her long to get attached. Glad to hear everyone is adjusting well to Chloe's new home.

That is a tough decision. Gary tried to get rid of our dog and me being the one that did NOT want a dog put a stop to it as I wimped out. It is a very tough decision. Glad everyone is adjusting well.
