We had a great Christmas this year! Matt was able to be off for Christmas eve and Christmas day, which doesn't always happen when you work shift work. We went to Matt's dads house Christmas eve and spent it with his sisters and their families.
Christmas morning we spent at our house with just Matt, Hunter and I opening our gifts. One of our recent traditions is to have Cinnabons Christmas morning. It is such an easy and tasty breakfast to have when your hungry and know your not going to have time to make something right away. This is about the only time of year we get Cinnabons, so it truly is a TREAT!
The two gifts that Hunter had at the top of his Santa list was the transformer helmet/gun and the Imaginext dragon fortress. He was in hog heaven!
Hunter had a shopping day at school where he was able to take money to school and buy gifts for Matt, me and the dogs. Some moms volunteered and picked up items throughout the year and set up the gymnasium with a shopping center. Hunter did pretty good keeping the gifts a secret for about a week and then one day he says "mom do you want to open the pen I got you for Christmas?". I had to laugh.
It was cute, he was so excited to give us our gifts that he was right there next to us helping unwrap the gifts. It was like he couldn't wait for us to see what he got us.

He got the dogs rawhide bones. Matt got a tool and knife. I got a ceramic container that had earrings in it and a huge pen with a daisy on top. Once I opened the pen Hunter says, "mom, I got that pen out of the kids section." I was laughing, "Oh, you did?"

You will have to tell Hunter that pen will come in handy at work! I am sure you will get lots of grins trying to use that mongo pen to get your work done ;)
