This top picture was taken at a work Christmas party in 2006. Hunter was 1 and he didn't want anything to do with Santa. I have it in a frame at home and get it out at Christmas time because I love the expression on both of our faces...priceless. Hunter saw it last week and asked why he was crying in the picture. I told him it was because he didn't know who Santa was.
Hunter wouldn't sit on Santa's lap last year. This year we went to a Breakfast with Santa that the local mall hosted. I was so happy that after standing in line this year to get his picture taken with Santa he didn't cry or dart off. He sat on Santa's lap and actually smiled! The only snafu we had this year was Hunter got off of Santa's lap and didn't tell him what he wanted for Christmas. Hunter walked over to me after sitting on Santa's lap and was pouting. He said "I didn't tell Santa, what I wanted for Christmas." I asked him why and he says "Because I wanted you tooooo." as he is starting to cry a little. I tried walking back to Santa with Hunter and there was already another kid on Santa's lap. I let Hunter know we will be writing Santa a letter and he can tell him what all that he wants in the letter.

One of my favorite Santa pictures is one of Regan on a bench with Santa she is sitting literally one butt cheek hanging off the other end of the bench so she can sit as faaaar away from Santa as possible. She told me afterwards I hope your happy you know I only did that for YOU!
