Making sugar cookie dough

Saturday night Hunter and Matt made dough for sugar cookies and then Sunday, Hunter and I rolled, cut and baked the dough. It was nice for me to take the back seat and watch them and get the ingredients out they needed. I had to take a picture of this....just another example of how men and women think and do things differently. The stick of butter that he put in our mixing was was a little had from being in the fridge making it hard for the beater to mix it. I suggest he put in a mircrowaveable bowl and warm the butter up a little to make it easier to mix. He says, why don't I just put this steel mixing bowl on the burner to soften the butter. I look at him like are you serious....I guess it couldn't hurt anything since it is a steel bowl. The funny thing is, he does it and it totally works and he doesn't dirty another a dish.
