The zoo has keys that you can buy for $2.50 and kids can put them in these boxes to tell you a little about each animal. Hunter liked putting the key in the boxes. He wasn't much for sticking around to hear what it said. 
We had a great day at the zoo. It was nice to get to the zoo when it first opened. There were a lot of animals that were just getting their first food for the day. We got some close up glimpses of some tigers and leopards that were inspecting food that the zoo keepers had put in some snow. It was interesting to walk up and see snow in the middle of Summer in a couple of the cages.
This was Hunter's first time walking and not riding in a stroller. He was a trooper keeping up on his little legs. On the train ride home he was sure tired from all the walking and sites, mom was too!

The first picture of you and Hunter with the giraffe in the back is soooo good! And to think Hunter would be a giraffe if he was an animal. I think I would frame that one! So cute!!!
