I asked Hunter this weekend what he wanted for his upcoming birthday. He said he wanted 5 things! I was quite interested to hear what he had to say. Here's the 5 things....
1. money
2. a pirate ship
3. super heroes
4. clothes
5. socks
The first thing I thought was interesting for an almost 3 year old who has no concept of money. I think it came from Matt and I getting our 13 year old nephew a gift card to Game Crazy. I tried explaining the gift card to Hunter and finally decided to tell him it was money. He really looks up to his cousin. Hence, where I think the money thing came from. The last two things on the list really cracked me up...hmmm, wonder if he got those ideas from mom...=)

When Jordan was about that age he was really into coins that they were awesome. Plus he loved any kind of ball soccer, baskeball you name it. So Granny made him a birthday cake with chocolate sports balls and chocolate coins on it. Maybe an idea for his cake ;). How about this one since he likes pirates...http://jas.familyfun.go.com/recipefinder/display?id=50213
If a child asks for socks for his birthday I think the parents must be doing something right! Keep up the good work!
April check my blog you have been tagged.
Well I think it is great for Hunter to know what he wants. The perfect age. Because you can get him just about anything and he will love it.
Yes, I agree this age I could get him just about anything and he would love it. Matt was talking about getting him socks and clothes and planting it in his head....=)
So did you buy him some socks for his birthday ;). When is his birthday anyway?
