Today was Hunter's first swimming lessons by himself! He has had two other swimming classes with mommy and daddy in the water with him. He loves the water and was talking about going to swimming lessons every day for about a week. I have to admit I was a little bit nervous for him to be in the water by himself today. I know there is an instructor and life guards to save him, if he was to go under the water, which is not what I was necessarily nervous about. I was just nervous he would not want to be the water without Matt and I since that is what he was used to. I was also a little weary that his attention span would not last with the teacher and he wouldn't pay attention to what she was saying.
Matt took Hunter up to introduce him to the instructor and other kids. When the instructor started getting the kids into the pool Hunter followed her to the pool without any hesitation and didn't even look back at Matt or I. I was so impressed with him in the pool! Hunter was the youngest one in his group of kids, but he sure kicked his feet and hung to the side of the pool like a big guy! There was one moment when he let go of the side and figured out that he couldn't touch very well and quickly found the side again to hang onto. =)

Hunter looks like he is enjoying himself and doing great. Looks like he has all the girls hanging around him also so you may have a little heartbreaker there... :)
Good for you...man I need to sign my girls up for a swimming lessons class! After three years in Alaska no one got much swimming done!
What a big boy Hunter is! That is great!!
April would love to see some more pics of Terry's kids if you have any too!
