The doctor still wants me at home taking it easy. It is not because of my shortening cervix anymore. Now it's because my amniotic fluid is on the lower side. I have been going in every week for the past 4 weeks to get a non-stress test to check the fluid levels. They are keeping on eye on the fluid because if it goes to low it can cause complications like umbilical cord compressions. Cord compression can cause pressure on the umbilical cord, which reduces blood flow from the placenta to the fetus. If the Dr fears it is getting dangerously low they would induce the labor.
I have been feeling good. The only bad symptoms I have right now is, by the end of the day my back gets sore and my stomach doesn't feel like it can possibly stretch anymore. I feel lucky that I haven't had heartburn. So far I have gained 40 lbs. With Hunter I gained about 23 lbs. Granted I only went to 30 weeks with him.
Matt and I decided on our little girl's name. Around 30 weeks when I went into the hospital having contractions we decided we better narrow our name down and decide. We both agreed on Emerson Hope.
Recently I ordered Emerson's baby book online. I was happy I found one with polka dots on it. I wanted to get it to work on the pre-birth pages in the book while I was on house rest before little Emerson is born. On another note, I'm excited to say I completed Hunter's baby book while I've been off work. It is nice to have his done and be able to start fresh on baby girl's book.

Looking good April! I gained around 40-70 pounds with each kid. So, I can completely understand when you say you don't feel like you can stretch anymore, but somehow you still stretch. I loved hot, right out of the dryer, towels for my lower back. It helped a ton (or a heating pad). Sounds like everything is going well and I'm so happy to hear this.
I'm on my lunch working on Gavins baby book right now! Crazy. You look AMAZING and I'm so proud of you for hanging in there for so long, it's going to be extremely gratifying bringing your baby home from the hospital and her not having to stay in the NICU. Good Job Mama, little E loves her Mama Day Spa so she's staying put =)
These final days are the hardest hang in there!
I can't wait to come and see your newest addition next month!!
