Kindergarten

Hunter has a full week of school past him and is into his second week. I'm happy to report he loves Kindergarten. I reminded him what he said at the end of Pre-school about not wanting to go to Kindergarten because it would be to hard. He just laughed and said, "Mommm, it's fun." It is so fun to hear him talk about things he's doing in school. He had Spanish class today and he asks me tonight, "mom, do you know what, Hola classe means?" I can't believe they have Spanish class in Kindergarten now a days. I think my first introduction in to Spanish was 7th or 8th grade?!
I remember the first day when I picked him up from school, he runs up to me, "mom, mom, we got to say the pledge of allegiance in the gym! The whole school did it all at once!" It warmed my heart to see how excited he was about school. "So how wast the rest of school?" I asked him. "It was awesome!" Just to think earlier that morning I was so nervous dropping him off, what if he didn't know how to open his zip lock snack bag, what if he couldn't get his pants buttoned back up after he went to the bathroom? I had all these instances in my mind of things he may need help with....I know cut the cord mom.
Hunter signing his name. The first thing you do when you get to class everyday.

So cute!! Those worries you had wouldn't have even occured to me, but they make sense - especially the pants buttoning business!
