I finished the Christmas Sweater last night by Glenn Beck. Last holiday season I wanted to read it, but got busy and before I knew it Christmas was over. I vowed the next year I would read it. So two days before the book was due back to the library, which was 4 days before Christmas I started it. I was very into it and loved, but didn't finish it before it was due back. So I bought it and vowed to keep reading it, even if it meant finishing it after Christmas.
I'm so glad I did. It was better than I could have imagined. I remember as a kid, being like Eddie the character in this book. Wanting so many things, material things and not thinking of what the real meaning of Christmas was. I know a lot of us get caught up in the buying spirit and forget the true meaning and spending time with family. What an phenomenal read and the end was not what I expected at all!
Sooo, now that I'm done with that one I need another good one. Anyone have any good books to recommend?

I tried reading the christmas sweater several months ago however didn't give it a chance (Glenn Beck drives me batty, hubs loves him, but I can only take small doses) I guess I should have finished it! Shoot! I will have to try it again later.
As for now, I would suggest The Hunger Game series. These books you won't be able to put down!
yep, Samuel will be next for braces. Hopefully not for a few years though.

I have The Gift to read and another one that is on my list is The Christmas Cookie Club. I agree with Mandy, Goodreads is a great way to read suggestions and reviews on books.
