He's baaaack

Yes, Elfy is back. He showed up Tuesday night and was sitting in the Christmas tree when we got home from our dinner out.

If you remember last year was our first year with Elfy. He joined us shortly after Thanksgiving and left to go back to the North Pole Christmas Eve. Each night he leaves to visit Santa at the North Pole to report Hunter's good or bad behavior and returns and is in a new spot the next morning for Hunter to find.

Hunter has been looking forward to Elfy coming back. There was a couple times this past year that out of the blue Hunter would ask me questions like "I wonder what Elfy is doing?". When we were on vacation at the beach this Summer Hunter asked, "Mom, is Elfy making toys right now?"

Tuesday night I was in the other room when he found Elfy and he yelled "MOM, come here! You won't believe it!" I knew exactly what it was and the big grin on his face was priceless. Hunter said "Mom, you got to find my Christmas list. We need to read it to Elfy so he can tell Santa what I want for Christmas." It was so cute to watch Hunter look at Elfy as Daddy read the Christmas list. Hunter was so excited about Elfy being back he asked to sleep on the couch to watch him fly away.
