We had a wonderful Christmas!! We weren't for sure when Matt went to a new shift at work if we would be spending Christmas together this year, but it worked out that he ended up getting both Christmas eve and day off. I was grateful that we were able to be together as a family and man did we enjoy it!

Christmas eve we went to Matt's dad's house. I was in the kitchen when Matt's grandpa gave all of the grand kids a white envelope. When I came back in the room this is what Hunter had in his hand....when I saw the envelope and saw that bill in his hand my first thought was I was surprised he didn't rip that bill in half when he was opening the envelope. Second Hunter didn't even realize what it was. He just knew that all the big kids got one and that made him feel like he was a big kid too...=)
On Christmas morning when Hunter was unwrapping his gifts I noticed something stuck to the Chutes and Ladder game he had just opened. I saw it was a sticky note with some writing on it. Hunter handed it to Matt to have a closer look....the sticky note was a list of Hunter's Christmas presents with prices next to it. I sure am glad he can't read yet....I must have been in one heck of a wrapping frenzy to miss that!

That is a funny one! I can see myself doing that! I know one year I opened a present my mother in law sent me and on top of the sweater she gave me was a package of wrapping paper still in the plastic. She looked over and said GOOD GRIEF there is that paper! I have been looking for that for days!
It sounds like you guys had a great Christmas. I am glad you were able to spend the two days together too! That's wonderful!
The money one had me laughing! Lauren opened up her envelope from her great grandma and said out loud to everyone in a roll of the eyes, ah shucks voice, "it's a million dollars..." Had us all laughing! (It was a $10 bill.) Kids are so funny!
Too funny with the post it!
