Last night Hunter and I made a Turkey. I found a template online to cut out and glue a turkey together. Hunter had a good time cutting the pieces out for the turkey. He is getting really good at being able to handle the kid safe scissors and I am getting better and not being antsy about him using the scissors. I talked to him about Thanksgiving and explained to him that it is a day for us to think of things we are thankful for. The wings on the homemade turkey had spots where you could put what you are thankful for. I told him I was thankful to have Daddy and Hunter in my life and thankful that we had a house. At first Hunter said he was thankful about everything, then he said he was thankful for the president. This had me chuckling inside a little bit, I guess with the recent election he saw and paid more attention to it than I thought he did. He also said he was thankful for his blanket.
BTW, the bottom picture is a little fuzzy. I got a new camera and had it on the wrong setting for a couple of pictures. I still need a little practice with it...;)
