We finally made the sugar cookies tonight that I was wanting to make before we went to Kansas. Hunter is getting to an age where he is able to understand and follow instructions pretty good. I cheated a little by buying the dough already made. We had just as much fun playing in the flour, rolling the dough and cutting out the shapes.
We were probably 15 minutes into making the cookies before Hunter realized that the dough was edible and it tasted good! Then I had a hard time getting the dough onto the cookie sheet and not in his mouth....=)
When Matt got home Hunter was so excited to show dad what we were making. As Matt was walking through the front door Hunter said in a proud and matter of fact way "Dad, we are making cookie sugars!"

I use to make up sugar cookie dough for Gary and chocolate chip for Christian. I will have to make some sugar for Gary since he lives close by. Sorry Christian...
It always seemed like a good gift. Who doesn't like cookies???
Hunter can bake cookies at my house anytime. :)
