Me: "Hunter, if you could pick any animal to be, what would you be?"
After about a minute of thought he takes his thumb out of his mouth and says "a giraffe"
Hmmmm...I was thinking he was going to say something like a dog or cat or some ordinary everyday pet...
Me: "What would you do all day?"
Hunter: "Eat and look in the trees."
Me: "If daddy was animal what would he be?"
Hunter says matter of factly "A gorilla."
I'm looking in the rear view mirror at him, dying laughing inside and can't wait to tell Matt he is a gorilla....=)
Me: "What animal would mommy be?"
Hunter: "A panda."
I can live with a panda...that's pretty cute. I love hearing how Hunter answers questions at this age and seeing his imagination working. There are times I think I know how he is going to answer something and he totally surprises me with his imagination.

Sharing ideas is the best. The age Hunter is, is the age I remember my nephews being at and enjoying. I picked them up one time to take them to town and totally was getting a kick out of having a conversation with these 2 little brains in the backseat.
I think this is the age that everyone says enjoy because the talk-back teenage years are coming.
I asked Lauren that once and she said I was a pig. Not as cute as a panda. But I laughed so hard when she said that!
I asked Erin today this question curious to hear her response. This is what she said Mommy you would be a mouse, I would be a kitty and daddy would be a dog. I asked why she said b/c doggies like to chase kitties and kitties like to chase mice. ????
I asked Hunter yesterday the question and he said Gorilla. Hmmm, I guess I'm like Daddy? Then I asked about Mackenzie and he said a baby monkey. I thought that was cute and made me wonder if he purposely linked those animals together.
