This past week we got a new addition to our family. We got a little girl German Shepherd puppy! We have been wanting to get a puppy for Hunter, but wanted to wait until he was potty trained. I did not want to be potty training a puppy and Hunter at the same time. We decided since Hunter is pretty well potty trained except for the occasional accident we could get a puppy. Last week Matt found these German Shepherd puppies in the paper and we decided to go after work and look at them. We fell in love with the sweet temperament of one of the little girls and knew she was the one.
Now for the name. It is not like us to not have a name picked right away, but we didn't pick the name out until a day later. Matt and I both wanted to find something that fit her and we were having a hard time picking a name that we could both agree on. I wanted Paisley, Shelby and Libby. He liked Zoe and Sadie. We actually tried to get Hunter to help us, but a 3 year old can change his mind about something every second so we nixed his help. We finally both agreed on Chloe.
Chloe is adjusting pretty good. She was already crate trained so our nights have been awesome! Since we have gotten her, she has slept in her crate every night without yelping or crying and has kept her crate poop and pee free! We can't even believe it! The lady we got her from said she had been working on crate training the puppies, but we didn't expect Chloe to be this good in her crate. Hunter is doing pretty good with her. Of course he doesn't understand that puppies bite and we are trying to stay vigilant with her biting by distracting her with chew toys. We have had a couple accidents in the house, but she is doing pretty good for being a puppy and just learning. The only one that is taking a while to adjust to Chloe is our 8 year old lab/shepherd mix. He pretty much ignores her and tries to be anywhere, but where she is.

Ahhhh she's cute!
Good choice of dog for Hunter. They are very smart dogs and she will be very protective of Hunter.
Now how are you doing with your wisdom teeth? Still hurting some?
Your pup is cute and will grow with Hunter.
I had the pain in the one tooth for about a week. Man, I am so glad to be done with that! Now I just have holes in there that I have to clean out after I eat.
