Catchng Tadpoles

We have a little man made water pond in our backyard. I've noticed the past month there is little tadpoles swimming around in it. I remember as kids, Terry and would go tadpole hunting at ponds when my dad was fishing. We loved it and had fun trying to see how many we could catch. Terry and I would get so dirty. We would have mud up our legs from standing in the mucky mud water, but we didn't care.

Yesterday Matt and I helped Hunter catch some in a bucket. I know it is a little different with our man made pond, but Hunter still loved it! It was perfect timing to catch them and look at them, because the tadpoles had just got their legs and still had their tales. Hunter loved watching them. He wanted to hold one, but once Matt got it in his hand and he felt it, he was done. Good times!
