Yard Project

We have a couple of yard projects we want to accomplish this summer. One is getting our cement patio extended and another is to block the side of our yard by our house and put gravel in it for our trailer. This weekend we started on the side of our house getting it dug out and smoothed out for the gravel.

Our original plan was for this area was to be a place to park our trailer. That was until I bought a little pool. (12 ft. in diameter and 36 in. tall) So now we are making the area for the pool for a couple of years and then after we are done with the pool we will park our trailer there.

This first picture is how it looked when we started out the day. The ground was hard with a lot of weeds and not level.

Hunter loved having his hands in the dirt! When I was shoveling the dirt into the wheelbarrow he kept wanting me to shovel the dirt on his hands and cover them up...=)

This is what it looked like close to the end of the day. We are putting a short fence from the house to the other side of the fence, so that our dog and Hunter will not have free access to the area. Matt did the get the holes dug and the posts put in before he retired for the night. I will post more pictures of the project as it comes along.
