Going to the Dentist

Today Hunter had his first Dentist appointment. I wasn't for sure how he would react to this new appointment. I tried to keep my expectations low, just in case we went there and he decided just meeting the dentist was enough. The first appointment is just a chance dental hygentist to count his teeth, check them out, get the kids introduced to the dentist office and clean the teeth if the kid lets them. The hygenist told us she would only do as much as Hunter let her. Hunter was shy at first, carrying his blanket and sucking his thumb. He warmed up to her when she started showing him how all the dental gadgets worked. I was surprised he actually warmed up to her so much that he let her clean his teeth! He was so excited at the end when he got to pick out his own toothbrush. He picked out a new Power Ranger toothbrush. He also got to pick out a toy for being a good patient. He chose a new pair of sunglasses.
