Hunter and I have had a lot of fun going to the library lately. I have to say I may have more fun picking out the books than Hunter does. I like reading books, but it seems I don't have time for big books, so for now I will get my excitement out of reading kids books! Hunter may not be into the picking out of the books, but he loves when Matt and I read him books. His bedtime routine consists of at least 2 books, sometimes more. I can always tell ones that are his favorite, because he will ask me to read those ones every single night. "There's a Nightmare in My Closet" by Mercer Mayer, was one of those. It was a cute book and one that I was wondering if I should even get at first for fear he would have nightmares, but he didn't. I feel a little guilty for saying this, but I was happy when it was due for that book to go back to the library and it was time for a new book to become his favorite!

My kids love There's an Aligator under my Bed! It was/is one of their favorites. We too love the library and go often, at least once a week sometimes twice. It's a place where I feel so much joy and peace.
Hands up ME TOO ME TOO love the library! So glad you are exposing Hunter to the escape of getting lost in the magic of words and the wonderful worlds they can imagine. I had a teacher that once told me that if your kid can be a good reader they can be good at any subject. Think how useful it is to be a good reader in science, history and even math! Good job mommy!
