Ok, so I have been wanting to start this for a while now. I wanted to start a journal to write about Hunter's growth. I also like with the blog I can share pictures with family and friends and write one big letter to share, instead of writing a bunch of emails or letters. I feel like I have so much to say and don't know where to start.
I never knew how much having a little one would be so rewarding. It so much fun to see on a daily basis how he is growing into a little person. In my early 20's I didn't think I wanted kids. I can't even imagine not having Hunter in my life!
Matt is such a great dad! He is very involved with Hunter's daily activities. I remember one day I walked into the living room to see Matt sitting on one of Hunter's little kid stools at the kid table coloring with Hunter. It was so cute seeing this grown man sitting on such a little stool. Matt didn't care what it looked like or that he might brake the stool. He just wanted to get down on Hunter's level and play with him.
Let's see Hunter is counting to almost 20 by himself. He gets mixed up with the numbers every once in a while. He can recite his abc's when Matt and I are singing with him. When he is singing by himself he gets to "G" and stops. He knows his first, last and middle name. He has been asking Matt and I what our names our and we tell him mommy Frohnert and Daddy Frohnert. This morning before taking him to daycare he colored and picture and stated that he wanted to give it to "Colton". Colton is a 4 year old friend at daycare and is a son of some of our friends. It so sweet that he is now thinking of his friends and wanting to give things to his friends!
